Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Vylan (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. The service
Vylan is a document-collection tool for accounting and bookkeeping firms. Firms create request checklists; their clients upload documents through a portal. We process and store those documents to deliver the Service.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at the email below if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Subscription, billing, and demo
Paid plans are billed monthly in Canadian dollars. While our pricing is under review you may use Vylan in demo mode with no payment method required — we'll agree on pricing together before any charge. Once you are on a paid plan, you may cancel at any time from your billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Your data
You own the documents and information you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that data solely to provide the Service. We will never sell your data or your clients' data.
6. Acceptable use
Do not upload illegal content, attempt to break security controls, or use the Service to impersonate someone. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, its design, code, and content (other than your data) are owned by us. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the Service without written permission.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement. On termination, you may export your data within 30 days; after that, we may permanently delete it.
9. Warranty disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
