Your calendar beside your work
Connect Google Calendar and your day appears on your dashboard. Vylan only reads it — it never adds, moves or cancels anything.
The point is small and useful: knowing whether you have three meetings today changes what you start, and having to open another tab to find out is how you end up not looking.
Connecting
Open Integrations and choose Connect Google Calendar. It states the deal on the button itself: See your Google Calendar meetings right here, beside your work. Vylan only reads your calendar — it never adds or changes anything.
Read-only, permanently. Vylan cannot create an event, move one, or block time — not today and not as part of anything else. Your calendar is yours.
What you get
A card on your dashboard showing today, with Previous day and Next day to look around, and Open calendar → to go to Google itself. An empty day says Nothing scheduled., and all-day items are marked All day.
It is your calendar, not the firm's. It does not show a colleague's day or a shared team calendar, and it reads your main Google calendar rather than letting you pick one.
When it stops working
Google withdraws these permissions periodically — after a password change, or just with time. The card says so and offers Reconnect: Google stopped accepting the connection. Reconnect to see your day again.
There is no disconnect button inside Vylan. To end it, remove Vylan's access from your Google account's own security settings.
Times are shown in your browser's timezone rather than the firm's, which is worth knowing if you travel or your firm spans provinces.
