Announcements
One message, emailed to the clients you choose. For the things you would otherwise send to everybody one at a time — deadlines, office closures, a change in how you work.
Some things every client needs to hear: the RRSP deadline, the office closed the week of the 20th, a new way of collecting documents. Write an announcement sends that once instead of forty times.
How it works
- Pick the clients it goes to.
- Write a Subject and a Message.
- Use Review and Preview to see it as they will, then Send.
It arrives as an email from your firm — your name, your branding — in each client's own language setting, the same as everything else Vylan sends on your behalf.
It is email, and only email
One message, emailed to the clients you picked. It does not appear in their portal. A client who never opens the email never sees it, so an announcement is not the place for something they must not miss.
Clients with no address on file are shown as No email address on file rather than silently dropped. Check that list before sending — it is the quiet way an announcement misses the person it most concerned.
Getting the words out
Draft with AI will write a first version from a sentence about what you want to say. It is a starting point to edit, not something to send unread — it is your firm's name at the top.
Who can send one
Sending to your whole client list is not an everyday permission, and not everyone in the firm has it. Somebody without it sees You do not have permission to email clients.
For a conversation with one client about one job, use the thread on the engagement instead — see messaging your client.
